One of the underlying problems of the term pervasive encryption is the propensity of non-technical experts (and disappointingly some experts too) to use encryption as a shorthand for any cryptographic operation. Whilst the activity of ETI is about encryption the way in which keys are distributed is given quite a lot of consideration. | |||
